Advocacy for Change & Representation

In today’s society, advocacy for change and representation are of utmost importance. This is why GAFIN strives to sensitize women and girls on the need to engage in politics. We firmly believe that if more women are involved, we can see a major shift in the political landscape. Political representation would be encouraged if we had more female politicians, thus making policy changes much easier to enact. By becoming politically active, these women would become valuable assets for their communities and countries.

GAFIN seeks to empower women by providing them with the necessary tools and resources needed when engaging in politics. These include educating them on the significance of their vote, speaking up about issues they are passionate about, as well as how to create positive change through legislation or other means of action. We also strive to sensitize community leaders on eradicating those cultural practices that tend to alienate women and girls
